Gandalf the shaved - Henson AL13 razor stand

I wanted a razor stand for my AL13 safety razor that was a bit more fun and thought the Gandalf model made by Erenirga - Gandalf Cartoon Figure ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6236884 ) was perfect for this. All credit goes to this creator, i mostly just added a hole and mutilated the models hand :)

For a coloured version I included the .3mf AMS version, it is made with Bambu studio and I am not sure how well the colour maps are supported for other printers. The stl files themselves are also included, when using the stl take care with the support settings. I had a few prints with default support settings where the arms would come lose from the support during the print leading to one armed Gandalfs. In the 3mf file the arms are heavily support painted.

If you want to bolt the base to the model you can either use a optional M3 threaded insert (M3 x 3mm, diameter = 4.6mm) with a M3 12mm bolt or use a longer bolt eg 20mm and skip the insert. (anywhere between 8mm - 30mm is ok, the smaller hole starts at 16mm)

The left hand can be push fit into the arm.

Note that the amount of filament flushed is a lot compared to the filament for the model, It helps a lot to include some flush objects so the extra filament is at least used for something useful.

I use this with a Henson AL13 razor but it might fit others. (AL13 dimensions: The handle is tapered from 12.25 mm [.482”] at the tail to 9.75 mm [.384”] near the head. The overall handle length is 96 mm [3.780”].)
