Modern vase

100 mm height The vase is designed for standard FDM 3D printing without the need for supports, thanks to its smooth, continuous spiral geometry and optimized overhang angles. It can be printed in vase mode (spiralized outer contour) to achieve a seamless surface finish and reduced print time.

Typical print settings include a layer height of 0.2 mm, nozzle temperature around 200–220°C (depending on the filament), and a bed temperature of 50–60°C. A moderate print speed of 40–60 mm/s ensures good surface quality, while cooling should be enabled to preserve sharp details and clean transitions in the geometry.

The model in the photo is printed using a dual-color filament, which naturally creates the gradient effect between burgundy and green during the print. No filament changes or multi-material setup are required, as the color variation comes directly from the filament itself.
