Описание

After multiple community suggestions and based on my own experience, I noticed that the Yuka Mini tends to wear down on the lower front area of the chassis during regular use.

Small impacts, terrain contact, and debris can cause scratches and premature wear in this area. This design was developed to address that issue: a Lower Guard / front lower bumper that adds an extra layer of protection to this critical zone.

🔧 What this design does

- Protects the lower front area of the robot - Reduces scratches and daily wear - Absorbs small impacts - Helps extend the lifespan of the chassis 🖨️ 3D Printing

- ✅ No supports required - Easy to print - Geometry optimized for clean results Recommended material: 👉 TPU (flexible) – ideal for impact absorption Other materials can be tested, but TPU provides the best performance.

⚙️ Installation

- Simple installation using double-sided tape - Recommended: 3M VHB or equivalent outdoor high-strength adhesive Before installing:

- Clean the surface thoroughly - Make sure it is dry and free of dust or grease - Apply firm pressure for proper adhesion ⚠️ Important Notes

- This design was developed based on real-world use and community feedback - Intended as preventive protection , not structural reinforcement - Does not interfere with the robot’s functionality 🔒 Usage & Design Notice

This design is shared for personal use only . Reselling, redistributing, or publishing modified versions of this design is not permitted.

0.2mm layer, 4 walls, 20% infill 🖨️ Printing Recommendations

To achieve the best results with this model, the following is recommended:

- Material: Use TPU (flexible material) . This provides better impact absorption and durability during real-world use. - Print Speed: Print at low to moderate speeds . TPU does not perform well at high speeds, so reducing speed improves print quality and prevents extrusion issues. - Print Profile: Make sure you are using a properly calibrated profile for flexible materials (TPU) . Each printer may require slight adjustments for optimal results. - Filament Drying: It is highly recommended to dry TPU before printing , as moisture can negatively affect print quality (stringing, poor layer adhesion, rough surface). - Structure (Strength): For improved durability and wear resistance:

- Minimum 3–4 wall lines - Minimum 5 top and bottom layers This prevents the part from being too hollow and increases resistance to impact and friction.
