This is a parametric barbed 90° T hose adapter designed for flexible rubber, silicone and soft PVC tubes.

The model creates a true T-shaped hose connector where:

- A is the main straight-through hose line; - B is the 90° side branch coming out from the center of A. This V2 version includes both:

- Metric version , with editable dimensions in millimeters; - Inch Presets version , using common inch-based hose sizes converted into millimeter values for Fusion 360 / MakerWorld Customizer. The model is still generated in millimeters , but the Inch Presets version makes it easier to work with common inch hose dimensions.

The design can be customized directly in Fusion 360 / MakerWorld Customizer by changing the main parameters, allowing users to create equal T connectors, reduced side-branch T connectors and custom hose routing adapters.

It is intended for light-duty workshop, DIY, maker, hobby and utility use, such as:

The barbs are automatically scaled from the hose diameter, wall thickness and grip level, so the user does not need to manually adjust many technical values.

V2 Update — Improved Barb Retention

This V2 update improves the barb retention system based on user feedback.

Some users reported that, with certain hoses and under pressure, the previous barb geometry could still allow the hose to slip off even at the maximum grip setting.

The general adapter geometry remains the same, but the grip behavior has been improved.

V2 introduces:

The updated GRIP_LEVEL now supports a wider usable range:

0 Very soft grip / easy removal

1 Light grip

2 Standard grip

3 Strong grip

4 Extra strong grip

5 Maximum retention

Recommended starting value:

GRIP_LEVEL = 2

For softer hoses or hoses that tend to slip off, try GRIP_LEVEL = 3–5 .

For stronger retention, especially under pressure or vibration, use a hose clamp where needed.

Important Inch Preset Note

The Inch Presets version is not modeled in inches internally.

All geometry is generated in millimeters .

The inch sizes are provided as ready-to-use converted preset values for users working with common inch-based hose dimensions.

Example:

1/2 inch hose size = 12.7 mm preset value

This makes the model compatible with Fusion 360 / MakerWorld Customizer while still being practical for users who normally work with inch hose sizes.
