Heavy Duty Garage Shelf Bracket - Scalable Sizes for A1 & A1 Mini

Boost Me I designed these shelf brackets for my garage because I was looking for strong and affordable brackets, but honestly nothing I found really impressed me. Most options were either too expensive or not optimized for 3D printing.

So I decided to design my own and print them myself.

The brackets are optimized for multiple sizes and printer build volumes:

Sizes for Bambu Lab A1

Scaled versions from:

- 240 mm down to - 100 mm These sizes fit printers with a 254 mm build plate.

Sizes for Bambu Lab A1 Mini

Scaled versions from:

- 170 mm down to - 100 mm The brackets can also be resized easily in Bambu Studio or Onshape if you need a custom size.

Recommended Materials

For durability and long-term stability I strongly recommend:

- PETG - ABS I do NOT recommend PLA for structural use like this, especially in garages or warmer environments, because PLA can deform over time under load and heat.

Of course, everyone can print with whatever material they prefer.

I personally printed mine using PETG Basic / PETG Translucent.

Why I Printed Them Instead of Buying

With MakerWorld filament discounts, you can get around 10 kg of PETG Basic / Translucent for roughly 110€.

For me, it was cheaper and more fun to design and print my own brackets than buying expensive store-bought ones.

And since I print using solar power, my electricity cost is basically zero.
