Designed for the Pet Bowl Contest, this modular travel bowl combines multiple functions into a single compact system. Whether you’re heading out for a walk, a road trip, or a weekend adventure, this bowl helps you feed your pet conveniently while keeping everything organized.

The design consists of three twist-locking modules that securely connect together, creating a durable and travel-friendly feeding solution.

The system is built from three interchangeable components:

🐾 Base Module

Can be used as:

- A slow feeder to help reduce fast eating - A standard feeding bowl when used with the upper bowl The exterior features adorable paw prints created using Fuzzy Skin, giving them a realistic textured appearance that looks and feels surprisingly close to actual paw prints.

🍽️ Main Bowl

The central bowl features a stylish ribbed pattern, adding a premium look while improving grip and visual appeal.

🥄 Lid with Integrated Scoop

The lid securely closes the bowl for transport and includes a removable scoop that snaps into place.

The scoop has:

- 100 ml capacity - Approximately 50 g of dry food capacity (depending on kibble size) This makes portioning food during travel quick, easy, and consistent.

This model was designed for the Pet Bowl Contest featuring Bambu Lab PLA Pure.

For food-contact applications, I strongly recommend printing the bowl using PLA Pure, as it was specifically developed for food-contact use cases and is an excellent fit for this project.

This bowl uses more filament than many lightweight alternatives—but for a good reason.

The walls and connection points were designed to be robust and durable, creating a bowl that feels solid, withstands daily use, and holds up well during travel. Sometimes a few extra grams of filament are worth the added strength and reliability.
