Heavy-Duty Shelf Support (5 mm / 32 mm)

This shelf support was designed for applications where standard shelf pins simply aren't strong enough.

Instead of relying on a single pin, this design uses two 5 mm pins with the standard 32 mm spacing , distributing the load across two mounting points. The result is a much more stable support, especially for heavily loaded shelves.

Compatible with the European 32 mm cabinet system, including many IKEA furniture series such as PAX, BILLY and BESTÅ, as well as cabinets from many other manufacturers. Please verify the hole diameter (5 mm) and spacing before printing.

I printed mine in ABS , which provides excellent strength. ASA is another great choice, while PETG is suitable for lighter to medium-duty applications.

For best results, I recommend printing with at least 4 walls and around 50% infill . If you plan to support very heavy loads, simply increase these values accordingly.

The shelf support prints without supports and is quick to produce.
