📖 Description

Welcome to my design of the LOOP Lamp ! This modern table lamp combines minimalist aesthetics with clever engineering. Inspired by the Japandi style (a fusion of Japanese and Scandinavian simplicity), this lamp is the perfect accent piece for any desk, side table, or as cozy ambient lighting.

The Highlight: The entire design is engineered so that all cables and electronics are completely hidden inside the base! No cable clutter disrupts the clean geometry. The back of the base is closed flush with a custom-fit cover, ensuring the lamp looks flawless from every angle.

In addition to the 3D-printed parts, you will need the following components:

- LED Strip: A 12V or 24V COB LED strip is highly recommended to avoid individual light dots and create a seamless band of light (approx. 50-60 cm / 20-24 inches in length). - IMPORTANT: The COB strip must be max. 8 mm wide ! - Power Supply: A matching 12V or 24V power adapter (ideally with an inline switch). - Power Connector: A screw-in DC power jack (female panel mount). - IMPORTANT: The thread diameter of the jack must be around 7.6 mm - Wiring: Thin stranded wire for soldering and a soldering iron. - Adhesive: Superglue (CA glue) or 2-part epoxy. 🛠️ Assembly Instructions (Step-by-Step)

- Prepare the Base: Take the LOOP ring and the base. Carefully apply adhesive (superglue or epoxy) to the contact surface of the ring and press it firmly onto the base. ATTENTION: Pay close attention to ensure that the small cable hole at the bottom of the ring aligns perfectly with the opening at the top of the base! - Mount the LEDs: Peel off the protective film from your COB LED strip and stick it into the designated groove on the inside of the LOOP ring. Guide the end of the LED cable down through the beveled opening into the hollow base compartment. Thanks to the bevel, the cable will slide in without kinking. - Insert the Diffuser: Carefully snap/click the printed diffuser ring into the LOOP ring. It should sit securely and cover the COB strip perfectly. - Wire the Electronics: Mount the DC power jack into the cutout on the back of the base and screw it tight from the inside. Now, solder the cables from the LED strip to the jack inside the compartment. Attention: Make absolutely sure to observe the correct polarity (+/-), otherwise the LEDs will not light up! - Finishing Touches: Snap the cover flush onto the back of the base to cleanly seal the electronics compartment. You're done! Plug in the power supply and enjoy your new LOOP Lamp!
