🛠️ Assembly Instructions

🔩 Step 1: Assembling the Main Screw

The threaded clamp screw is designed in two halves for maximum strength along the layer lines and support-free printing.

- Insert Alignment Keys: Take the two rectangular alignment pins/keys and press them into the rectangular sockets on one half of the screw. - Join the Halves: Align the matching sockets on the second screw half with the protruding keys, then press the two halves firmly together. - (Optional / Recommended) Glue for Permanence: Add a small drop of superglue (CA glue) into the alignment sockets or along the flat mating face before pressing the halves together to ensure the screw never separates during tightening.

🔩 Step 2: Clamp Assembly

- Prepare the Hinge Jaws: Lay out the movable clamp jaw, the main clamp body, and the hinge pin. - Align the Components: Bring the two main clamp bodies together. Align the pivot loop on the movable jaw so it is centered between the upper and lower pivot loops of the main body. The holes in all three loops must be perfectly concentric. - Insert the Hinge Pin: Take the hinge pin and insert it from the top down through the aligned upper loop, the middle loop, and the lower loop.

🔩 Step 3: Threading the Clamp Screw

- Insert Screw: Take your fully assembled main screw from Step 1 and align it with the threaded socket on the back of the clamp body. - Hand-thread the screw directly into the print-in-place rotary nut embedded inside the clamp housing. - Continue threading by hand until the tip passes through and interfaces cleanly with the guided slot holes in the movable jaw.

🔩 Step 4: Chair Mounting & Final Setup

- Mount to Chair: Open the hinged clamp jaws and position them around the desired frame tube or rod on your camping chair. - Tighten Securely: Turn the knob by hand until the jaws firmly grip the chair leg. (Hand-tighten only—no external tools needed!) - Attach Cup Holder: Slide the cup holder's mounting slot down over the mating tab on the clamp body until it locks into place. - Ready to Use: Drop in your favorite can, bottle, or tumbler and enjoy your trip!

🔩 Step 5: Optional TPU Anti-Slip Pad Installation

If you have printed the TPU anti-slip pads to provide maximum grip and protect your chair’s finish, install them now.

- Orient the Pads: Examine the two printed TPU pieces. Note that one of the TPU pieces features a distinctive cut or notch along its edge. - Install the Cut Pad: Press the TPU piece with the cut firmly into the recess of the larger, static jaw of the clamp body. The cut is designed to clear the internal screw mechanism. - Install the Standard Pad: Take the second, standard TPU pad (without the cut) and press it firmly into the recess of the smaller, movable clamp jaw. - Confirm Secure Fit: Ensure both pads are seated flush and securely within the clamp jaws before mounting the clamp to your chair.
