Bring Your Pool Cleaner Back to Life

When one of the caster brackets on my robotic pool cleaner broke, I discovered that the bracket wasn’t available as a replacement part by itself. The rest of the vacuum was still in great condition, so instead of replacing the entire unit, I decided to design a replacement bracket from scratch by carefully measuring the original part.

After several design revisions, test prints, and fit checks, I ended up with a replacement that fits and functions like the original. Hopefully it helps others repair their pool cleaner instead of throwing it away.

What Is Included

This download contains ONLY the caster bracket.

The original wheel, axle pin, and all other hardware must be reused from your existing pool cleaner and are NOT included.

Why This Design?

Unlike the original injection-molded bracket, this replacement is designed to be 3D printed at 100% infill , creating a very strong replacement part while allowing you to repair your existing cleaner instead of replacing it.

Recommended Print Settings

Material: PETG

Layer Height: 0.16 mm (Optimal)

Infill: 100%

Supports: Required

Print Orientation: Print horizontally exactly as provided in the included 3MF print profile.

The included 3MF file contains the recommended orientation, supports, and print settings for the best results.

Installation

- Remove the broken caster bracket. - Transfer the original wheel into the new bracket. - Reinstall the original axle pin. - Reinstall the caster assembly into the pool cleaner. No additional hardware is required.

Notes

- Designed completely from scratch using measurements from the original part. - Tested on my own pool cleaner for proper fit and function. - PETG is strongly recommended for strength, moisture resistance, and outdoor durability. - PLA is not recommended for long-term outdoor use due to heat and UV exposure.
