Colour Sort Puzzle 2.0 (No AMS)

This is a Tube Sort Puzzle.

Use the default print profile if you want a fast print and have AMS.

If you do not have AMS or want more than 4 colours you can use the 4x4, 5x5 or 6x6 print profiles. Look at the Assembly section for more info.

WARNING:

Either print the tiles IN BATCHES, or enable SKIRT. Trying to print them all in one plate with no skirt can cause bed adhesion issues.

DRY YOUR FILAMENT. Wet filament can cause rough sliding.

CLEAN your build plate. With so many small tiles, dirty build plates can only cause problems.

Assembly:

- Print the plate with the pieces 4-6 times, depending of if you are printing the 4x4, 5x5 or 6x6 - Print the frame - Slide the squares into the tube, with the top surface facing up. - Glue the tube and the cap onto the base (don't add too much glue or it will make the squares unable to slide smoothly) - Can add a keychain ring if you want

How to play:

- Randomly arrange the squares in the tubes - Then, shift the squares ONE at a time to different tubes. - The objective is to get all the tubes filled with only ONE colour

Improvements:

- Smoother sliding due to slightly increased tolerances - Has a 5x5 and 6x6 version now as well - Added shape indentations so that it can be played when printed in a single colour. Also means visually impaired people can use this. - Texture allows for better grip and easier sliding Boost Me thank you in advance

Additional notes:

Print the normal pieces and frame using the default print profile, which ensures there is ironing as well as having lower layer height for smoother sliding of the squares.

You can increase the layer height for faster printing but might result in rough sliding.

As the population ages, an increasing amount of the population have visual impairments or under stimulated brain. They often are forced to stay at home due to physical limitations. There are also many elderly who develop illnesses such as dementia due to these problems. This model is designed to provide a simple, cheap yet effective way to engage the seniors' brain. This puzzle can let the elderly think cognitively,  train their hand-eye coordination and can also be used by those with poor vision due to the textured tiles. Its small form and keychain ring allows it to be brought anywhere and is extremely convenient. Having personal experience with having someone with dementia in my family, it is quite sad to see him/her sit on a sofa all day with no way to actually do any daily activities. This model hopes to provide a simple way to slow down the development of such illnesses by letting them engage their cognitive thinking instead of sitting around all day with nothing to do. Hopefully you will find this model as useful as i did.
