Over-Engineered Spool Holder

This side-mounted spool holder comes with swappable modules, including a PTFE tube guide, a mount for Bambu Lab's TPU Feed Assist Module , and a placeholder/filler module.

You will need the stock spool holder, its screws, and two additional screws less than 15 mm long. If you are printing the TPU Feed Assist Module Mount, you will need to buy the electronics and print the TPU Feed Assist Module Housing and Frame separately. I used the TPU Feed Assist - Modern Casing instead.

If you are printing the PTFE tube guide, you will need to buy the PTFE tubes separately if you don't have them. You will have to slide the PTFE tube through the hole rather than using it like a clip.

To install the spoolholder, first screw the stock spoolholder that comes with the printer into the screws on the long side. The length of the screws used doesn't matter, as long as they are under 15 mm long. Then, it is recommended to apply double-sided tape to help prevent the spoolholder from drooping under its own weight. I used Gorilla Invisible Hold Mounting Tape :

Then, using the screws used to install the stock spoolholder, screw on the spoolholder. There is a dovetail to slide modules in and out. For the PTFE GUIDE MODULE, YOU WILL HAVE TO SLIDE THE TUBE IN FROM THE BACK.
