TravArge - The Modular Travel Charger Organizer

You get to a hotel after a long day of traveling, and when you put all your devices down, they are just a cluttered mess. You try to unwind with some music, but when you pick up your earbuds, everything falls off the counter! And you have to spend 10 whole minutes trying to untangle everything.

This is a modular, fully customizable travel charger/cord organizer. It folds flat for travel, so it can be easily transported. The hinges are made using filament as the pins, so in a perfect world, it should work with everybody's printer (if it doesn't, feel free to edit the size of the holes; the models are parametric) .

The modules connect with a 360° hinge that allows them to fold (either way) completely flat for travel.

It is completely modular, and with that, I hope people add on to make even more modules for everybody.

There is a parametric template to customize the size of modules to make a custom one. Please read the detailed instructions because they include more information about customization.

Also, please remix the model so I can easily find models to add to the video and give credit.

Slicing and print settings - PLA

Everything default (Bambu Slicer) except:

- Ironing - Top surfaces - 10% infill, Gyroid infill Assembly Instructions

1. Gather the tools and printed parts

- Pliers - Filament Cutters - Spool of 1.75mm PLA Filament - Printed Parts 2. Put hinges loosely in place in one module.

2.1 Feed filament through the holes until flush with the end of the module (use the pliers if there is too much tension)

2.2 Trim filament so it's flush

2.3 Make sure the hinges move

*Only if you have the Apple Watch module*

3. Feed the filament through the holes on the sides of the Apple Watch module

3.1 Cut the filament near the center of the tracks

3.2 Make sure it works

4. Loosely connect the other module and repeat step 2.1. MAKE SURE IT'S THE RIGHT ORIENTATION , and make sure it moves

*5. Repeat steps 2 and/or 4 if you have more modules to add*

6. Measure and cut pieces of filament

- 2x 30mm (or however many hinges you need to add) - 1x 60mm 6.1 Feed 60mm filament through the end that connects the smaller modules

6.2 Loosely put hinges in place and feed 30mm filament through them, and make sure they move ( do multiple times depending on how many modules)

7. Test the hinges, and make sure it looks good

7.1 Open it up

7.2 Insert the cords

7.3 Insert the devices

7.4 Pack it up, and you're ready for travel
