iPhone 18 Pro / Pro Max + iPhone Fold Cases – TPU for AMS

A set of lightweight, flexible 3D-printable cases for the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and Apple's foldable iPhone .

These cases have been designed specifically around Bambu Lab TPU for AMS , giving you the flexibility of TPU while allowing the filament to be loaded and printed through a compatible Bambu Lab AMS or AMS lite.

The models are based on the currently available pre-release dimensions and CAD/reference information for Apple's upcoming phones and are expected to fit the final production devices.

IMPORTANT: These cases are designed to be printed using Bambu Lab TPU for AMS.

TPU for AMS is a firmer 68D TPU specifically developed by Bambu Lab to work with the AMS and AMS lite. It provides the flexibility and toughness needed for a functional phone case while being much easier to feed through the Bambu ecosystem than conventional soft TPU.

The case dimensions and flexibility have been designed around the behaviour of TPU for AMS . Other TPU grades can have significantly different hardness, flexibility, shrinkage and print behaviour, so the fit may differ if another material is used.

For the intended result, I recommend using Bambu Lab TPU for AMS and printing at 100% scale .

Case Design

Each case uses a lightweight perforated back with a surrounding flexible frame.

These phones have not yet been officially released.

The models have been created using the best currently available dimensions, CAD information and pre-release references, and they should fit the final production phones .

Once the phones are released, I will check the final dimensions and hardware locations. If Apple has made any last-minute changes to the body dimensions, camera layout, buttons or ports, I will update the affected case accordingly.

Print the models at 100% scale so the designed dimensions and clearances are retained.

About the Foldable iPhone Name

Apple has not yet officially announced the final name of its first foldable iPhone.

The device is widely referred to as the iPhone Fold before launch, so that is the name used here. Some current reports suggest Apple may ultimately use the iPhone Ultra name instead.

This model is therefore listed as iPhone Fold until Apple confirms the official product name.

Recommended Printing

- Material: Bambu Lab TPU for AMS - Scale: 100% - Use the supplied print profile where available - Use a 0.4 mm or larger compatible nozzle - Dry TPU for AMS before printing - Keep the filament dry during printing - Good dimensional calibration is recommended for the intended fit Bambu Lab recommends drying TPU for AMS before use. Their published recommendation is 70°C for 8 hours in a suitable filament dryer / drying oven and keeping the filament dry during printing.

Why TPU for AMS?

Unlike conventional soft TPU, Bambu Lab TPU for AMS is specifically formulated to travel through the AMS and AMS lite .

That makes these cases particularly convenient for Bambu Lab users: keep TPU for AMS loaded, choose the model and print a functional flexible phone case without having to switch to an externally fed conventional TPU spool.

These are pre-release case designs and the final production phones are not yet available for physical fit testing.

Any dimensional changes found after launch will be corrected in the relevant model.
