Aquarium Habitat — Shrimp Canopy

Give your shrimp a simple place to shelter while adding a flexible way to incorporate small epiphytes and moss into your aquascape.

Shrimp Canopy is a compact, open shelter designed for aquarium shrimp. Its open design provides light cover.

The shrimp canopy also features optional anchor points underneath, providing an easy way to secure small epiphytes such as Anubias, Bucephalandra, or moss. Attach them using thread, or experiment with looping them through the anchor points.

Move Your Plants With Your Aquascape

One of the advantages of attaching plants to Shrimp Canopy is mobility.

Instead of permanently attaching a small epiphyte to a piece of driftwood or rock, you can attach it to the canopy and move the entire arrangement whenever you rearrange your aquarium—or even move it between tanks.

Prefer the canopy without plants? Versions without anchor points are included as well.

More Than Just a Hide

Shrimp Canopy provides a simple sheltered area for shrimp while also adding another piece of functional decor to your aquarium.

The Fuzzy Skin versions add additional surface texture and available surface area for biofilm colonization, giving shrimp another surface to graze.

The canopy can also be used as a shrimp lolly holder for supplemental feeding.

Choose Your Size

Two sizes are included:

Standard — 2" × 1"

- With anchor points - With anchor points + Fuzzy Skin - Without anchor points - Without anchor points + Fuzzy Skin Large — 3" × 1.5"

- With anchor points - Without anchor points The Standard size is the original compact version and is a great choice when space is limited. The Large version provides a more substantial presence for larger aquariums or aquascapes.

The model can also be scaled, although scaling down may affect the usability of the anchor points.
