Terraforming Mars Track Figures - 3 markers

Three sculpted markers for the Terraforming Mars tracks, replacing the ordinary cubes and discs on the board you already own. Each one is a single solid print on a 12 mm base. No assembly, no glue, no hardware, no supports.

THE THREE FIGURES - ONE STL EACH oxygen_biodome.stl - oxygen, a greenhouse dome with meridian ribs and an air vent. 9.4 mm tall. temperature_reactor.stl - temperature, a fluted cooling tower with a recessed opening. 15.4 mm tall. generation_rover.stl - generation, a six-wheel rover with a raised sensor head. 13.4 mm tall.

The rover is the generation marker, not a player's TR marker and not the first-player marker. Oceans stay as the tiles printed on the board, so there is no extra ocean-counting plate here.

COLOUR WITHOUT AN AMS One filament per figure. Green for oxygen, orange for temperature, ochre or grey for generation, or any three colours you can tell apart across the table. There are no multi-colour inlays and nothing needs painting, though a dark wash in the recesses looks good on the biodome ribs.

PRINT All three bases sit flat on Z=0 as supplied. Print them upright exactly as oriented and do not rotate the rover onto its wheels. - Any 0.4 mm FDM, Bambu Lab P2S or otherwise - 0.16 mm layers, 0.2 mm also works, 3 walls, 100 percent infill - No supports. No brim needed unless a 12 mm base lifts on your plate - About 2.2 g of PLA for all three, before brim or purge

At 100 percent infill these are solid little lumps of plastic. At this size it costs almost nothing and they sit on the track without being nudged out of place.

ON THE ROVER, USE YOUR FINEST SETTINGS. Its wheels and sensor head are sub-millimetre features on a 13.4 mm figure, so a 0.4 mm nozzle rounds them off. A 0.2 mm nozzle, or 0.08 mm layers with the part fan up, keeps the wheels readable. The biodome and the cooling tower come out clean on a standard 0.4 mm profile.

MEASURED, NOT ESTIMATED All three exported meshes are single watertight solids, verified against the saved STLs rather than the pictures. Oxygen biodome: 9.4 mm tall, 1.60 mm minimum wall, 102 mm2 bed contact, 60.8 degree tipping angle. Temperature reactor: 15.4 mm tall, 1.56 mm minimum wall, 102 mm2 bed contact, 42.1 degree tipping angle. Generation rover: 13.4 mm tall, 1.24 mm minimum wall, 102 mm2 bed contact, 56.9 degree tipping angle.

The 12 mm base is a design target sized for the printed tracks, so check the space on your own edition before printing a full set. These are loose markers, so they will move if the board gets bumped.
