The idea behind this model was to create something more dramatic than a traditional Halloween figurine while still keeping the overall design clean enough to work as a decorative display piece.

The skeletal arm rises directly from a solid base, reaching upward with long bony fingers wrapped around the lantern ring. The pose gives the impression that something buried beneath the ground has reached out to guide you through the darkness.

Or perhaps warn you not to come any closer.

The lantern hangs naturally from the fingers and becomes the main focal point of the upper part of the model.

I kept the lantern relatively simple, using large open panels instead of complicated patterns. The tall pointed openings give it a slightly gothic appearance while keeping the structure visually clean.

Small moon and star cutouts add just enough magical detail without making the design feel overloaded.

The lantern is intentionally open inside, giving you plenty of freedom to decide how you want to display it. You can keep it completely empty for a clean sculptural look or add your own small decorative light source to create a spooky glow.

There is no fixed tealight ring inside, so the interior remains simple and versatile.

The skeletal hand is one of the most important parts of the design.

The long fingers curve naturally around the hanging ring, making the lantern feel like it is actually being carried rather than simply attached to the model.
