Tying plants to stakes usually means knots: fiddly to tie and impossible to pick apart once the stem has thickened, so you cut the twine and start again. This little button turns the garden twine you already own into a tie you adjust with one pull.

Why you'll want to print it

- Tied in seconds : twine round the stem and stake, through the button, pull.  No knot to tie at the plant, and none to pick apart later. - Room to grow : is stem getting thicker? Pull the loop and it lets out. Gone slack? Pull the tail. Either way it takes a second. - No wrestling with leaves : the tie opens fully, so nothing has to slip over the plant. Side shoots and foliage are no trouble. - Move it from plant to plant : pull the twine out, lift it away, use it again on the next stem. - Made for your twine : type in how thick your twine is and the button resizes to match. Good to know

- Use natural, fuzzy garden twine. Smooth synthetic cord will slip. - Measure your twine before you print, so the button fits it snugly. - Leave the loop loose enough for the stem to rock a little. The tie keeps the plant near the stake, it should never fully squeeze it. - Prints flat, no supports, no glue. Scissors are the only tool you need.
