Описание

A wall-mounted case for a 433 MHz RF bridge: an ESP32-DevKitC, a CC1101 module with an SMA antenna, and a Hi-Link HLK-5M05 running straight off 230V. I built it to control my louvered pergola from Home Assistant with ESPHome.

The full build, wiring tables and ESPHome config are on my blog: Making My Pergola a Bit Smart: ESP32, CC1101 and ESPHome

What's in the box

- Mains side with a cradle for the HLK-5M05, a PG7 cable gland hole and two zip-tie anchors - A solid wall between the mains and low-voltage sides, with a notch at the top for the 5V pair - Pedestals for the ESP32 (sits on its headers, pins down) and the CC1101 - SMA hole in the back wall, so the antenna screws on outside - Keeper posts under the lid that stop the boards lifting - Two mounting ears Outer size: 120.8 x 80.8 x 39.6 mm

Hardware

- 4x M3 x L4 x D5 heat-set inserts - 4x M3 x 5 button-head bolts (heads sit flush in the lid) - 1x PG7 cable gland Print settings

What I used on an X1C: PETG, 0.2 mm layers, 6 walls (Bambu "0.20mm Strength" profile), textured PEI plate, no supports. The lid prints flipped, top face down. About 4 hours and 118 g for both parts.

Safety

This box carries mains voltage. Fuse the live wire, keep the mains wiring on its side of the wall, and don't open it while it's plugged in.

Профили печати и шаги

0.2mm layer, 6 walls, 25% infill Sliced in Bambu Studio for an X1C with Generic PETG (255 °C nozzle, 70 °C textured PEI plate), 0.20mm Strength profile. Both parts on one plate, no supports. The lid is flipped so its top face prints on the plate. About 4 hours, 118 g.

After printing, press the four M3 x L4 x D5 heat-set inserts into the bosses at around 220 °C. Build notes and wiring: clihero.com
