Описание

Zip Tie Mount – Screw-On Cable Tie Holder (Strong, No Supports)

A strong, simple mount that holds cables or wires to wood or concrete with one zip tie and one screw. Printed flat, no supports, no brim. The only hardware you need is a screw (and a wall plug for concrete).

WHY IT'S STRONG It prints lying flat, so the layers run in the same direction as the loads from the zip tie and the screw. The screw head sits in a recessed pocket, so the tie channel stays free.

WHAT'S IN THE PART - Size: 32 × 12 × 12 mm, with a curved cable cradle. - Zip tie channel: 7 × 2 mm, open along the full 32 mm. - Hexagonal window in the cradle: gives access for the screwdriver. - One screw hole with a recessed head pocket.

ZIP TIES THAT FIT ✔ 2.5 mm   ✔ 3.6 mm   ✔ 4.8 mm   (up to ~6 mm wide and ~1.5 mm thick) ✘ 7.6 mm and wider do not fit. The tie head stays outside the part; only the strap passes through the channel.

SCREW GUIDE (please read before buying screws) - Thread: 3.0–3.5 mm (≈ #6), around 40 mm long. - Head diameter: 6.3 mm or less. Head height: 2.8 mm or less (pan, round or flat head). - Through-hole: Ø4.0 mm. Head pocket: Ø6.8 mm × 3.0 mm deep. Base thickness behind the pocket: 4.83 mm. - Many 3.5 mm screws have 6.5–7 mm heads and will not fit. Measure yours first. - Wood: screw straight in. Concrete: use a wall plug (check the screw range printed on the plug). - Screw length needed ≈ 4.83 mm + the depth you want inside the wall. - No washer. Tighten gently: PLA can crack if over-tightened.

PRINT SETTINGS: STRENGTH OVER LOOKS This part is tuned for strength, not appearance. Recommended settings (Bambu Lab A1, 0.4 mm nozzle, generic PLA): - Layer height 0.20 mm · 5 wall loops · 40 % gyroid infill - No supports · no brim · default cooling - Orientation: as in the file (flat, 32 × 12 mm face on the bed) - Seam position: Back. Turn the wall-side face toward the rear of the bed so the seam stays hidden. - Temperature: use your filament's recommended range (the mid-to-upper part gives better layer bonding). With a new filament, run the flow calibration first. - No hole compensation needed: the tolerances are designed for default settings. - Print time: 18 min · Filament: 4 g · 1 plate The ceiling of the tie channel is printed as a short bridge (2 mm). Expect visible layer lines and some roughness there; it does not affect how the part works.

TIPS - Print one first and check that your screw head and your zip tie fit before printing more. - PLA softens around 55–60 °C. For hot places or direct sun, print it in PETG. - Test-printed successfully.

If you print it, please post a photo and tell me how the screw and the tie fit. Thanks!
