Описание

I had to clean out the USB Type C port on my cellphone since the charge cable wouldn't stay in. I needed a tool to do it that avoided shorting out the pins inside the port.  The design worked well so I thought I would share. I was amazed how much lint kept coming out, it was like that magic trick with the handkerchiefs :)

FYI I have my print profile make Qty:6… since it it such a short print I figured it should make enough to share.

I have included STL, STEP, and below is a link to the native Onshape file.

Руководства и профили печати

Профили печати и шаги

0.1mm layer, 2 walls, 15% infill Tip is 0.8mm thick, stem is 1.0mm thick, ring is 2mm thick. So I chose 0.1mm layer heights to capture the features well.

A SINGLE ONE, fine quality 0.1mm layer, 2 walls, 15% infill -0.1mm Layer → Great print quality, good speed

-Standard print profiles print 6 at once, this is a single one to reduce waste (you can print multiple ones in your slicer or mobile app)

-Combatible with: P1S, X1 Carbon, X1, P1P, X1E, A1 Mini, A1, H2D + more

Better seams and walls for a stronger tip (3-Pack) Uses PETG and makes a few tweaks to the default “0.08mm Extra Fine” profile:

- Use Arachne wall generator. (Makes the tip pointier.) - Disable “Only one wall on top surfaces” (Makes the part stronger in the axis it needs, by adding two additional wall strands.) - Set “Seam position” to “Back”. (Moves the seam off the tip and onto the handle.) The profile changes result in a slightly stronger and sharper tip. Though, using a strong, flexible filament is vital. PETG works great, but PETG-HF or ABS would almost certainly work too. A CF blend might even help clean corroded contacts better, though beware of damaging them. (You're sticking something in a very fragile bit of electronics, where it doesn't belong, so this is entirely at your own risk.)

Ironing Dual color 0.1mm layer, 2 walls, 15% infill

0.1mm layer, 6 walls, 100% infill

0.6mm nozzle, 0.1mm layer, 2 walls, 15% infill Works with a 0.6mm Nozzle! I'd still recommend going with 0.4mm though… unless you're abundandtly lazy :P
