FlashForge Adventurer 5M Toolhead Covers

Overview

Need a custom toolhead cover? Maybe your original was damaged? Take your pick of chamfer(sharp edge) or fillet(round edge) from the designs I have made or if you do not like them I have included the parametric source file for you to design your own in Fusion 360. The covers use the stock fan and also require two 5mm x 3mm magnets; that will require a little bit of super glue. The source file is ready for your design. Push down on the top of the cover AFTER you feel like it is seated to get it to fully seat, then calibrate. Any questions please ask.

Printing

All of these can be printed face down, without supports. If you have issues put supports around the face as shown in the image.

The hexagon version leaves a bit to be desired when printed this way unless you want to pick supports out of the hexagons(auto supports). For this specific model I chose to stand it upright and tilt it back a bit like in the image below. Then I gave it a few tree supports. Each file will annotate any specific printing parameters and what gave me the best quality. You can set a pause layer on layer 5 if you want to color the hexagons in if printing face down. Or just use a sharpie of any color.
