AXIAL SCX10 I & II - Chassis Parts / Update 15.09.2026 - New Body Mounts

Description General

- I have collected all SCX10 I & II parts i published on Printables so far.

- The chassis rails and skid of the SCX10 I are absolutely identical to those of the SCX10 II. So, many parts are suitable for both chassis.

- Attention: With a wheelbase of 313mm, Gen1 and Gen2 differ significantly in link lengths. Gen1 has the same length front and rear. Gen2 has a short in the front and a long in the rear. Bodymount for Gen1 dont work with Gen2! With a wheelbase of 290mm, the generations are identical again.

- The link mounts on the Gen2 AR44 axels put the links 1.5-2mm closer to the axle housing than the old Gen1 axles. So If you use Gen1 links with Gen2 axes, these must be extended.

- L and R mean left and right. Most parts are available for both sides; if not, they must be mirrored in the slicer.

- All parts are designed to be stable even in PLA. 15% infill and 3 wall lines.

- For each part there is a photo showing how it is assembled.

Description WIDE chassis

- The distance between chassis rails is 7.6mm more than on the original SCX10.

- Optimized for servo on the axle; with the original, the servo sometimes touched the frame.

- All original parts located between the rails are not compatible with this.

- All parts specifically designed for the wide chassis are labelled WIDE.

Description Parts

Skidplate for TRX4 Gearbox

- This allows you to use the TRX-4 two-speed transmission on the SCX10 Gen1&2.

- Works with 4-link (servo on axle) or 3-link panhard.

- Portal axels are needed (reduction), straight axels become far too fast.

- I used a clone gearbox from far east with MEUS portal axles. A great, inexpensive combo that's excellent for both crawling and bashing.

- Connect all parts with M3 screws; these are screwed directly into the plastic.

Skidplate Gen1&2

- Some simplified versions of the SCX10I skid plate.

- More mounting positions than the original.

- Optimized for different pivot ball sizes.

3 Gear Transmission Spacer

- This spacer fits the AXIAL SCX10 3 Gear Transmission hole pattern, which was installed on the SCX10I and II.

- Element RC Stealth X and Vanquish VS4-10 3 Gear Skid also fit.

- Versions with a distance of 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm are available.

Shocktower Gen1

- Shocktower based on those of the first generation.

- Without Panhard mount.

- Designed for 90mm shock absorbers.

Shocktower Gen2

- SCX10II shock towers with Panhard (variant without panhard is also included)

- They have a backplate so that they have the stability of original parts when 3D printed.

- No original parts fit between the towers because of the backplate.

- I use the all_in_one_front_2.0 for the battery and servo.

Bumper Mount

- Classic bumper brackets for front and rear.

- It's best to print with high infill or strong materials.
