Right Angle Cartographer Mount

This mount is designed to be used with the Cartographer 3D Right Angle V3 probe. This is a side mounted design, featuring zero Y offset, reducing the effects of Axis Twist .

Mounting

The Cartographer 3D Probe can be screwed directly into the mount on the two legs. Make sure to use a flathead/flush screw head so it doesn't protrude towards the bed. It is recommended to snip the soldered pins sticking through the coil plate so they are closer to the coil plate. The mount self-indexes with the two prongs on the left side of the tool head and is secured with two screws. The two extra stainless steel screws provided in the Creality tool box should work. Note that this screw hole on the stock K1 tool head is a plastic screw hole meant for self-tapping screws. Do not overtighten, as you may strip the hole. This mount pairs perfectly with these drag chain clips from SHaDoW6 . The clips are best installed on the bottom side of the drag chain.

Probe Configuration Values

Make sure to set these correct values for the probe offset in the config for the Cartographer Probe.

x_offset: -16.0

y_offset: 0.0

In the bed mesh section for the Cartographer Probe You'll also need to make sure to set Your new min and max to these listed values.
