Bondtech LGX Lite PRO Mount for RatRig V-Core 3.1 and V-Core 4

This design allows you to mount the Bondtech LGX Lite PRO extruder onto the RatRig V-Core 3.1 and V-Core 4 3D printers. The Bondtech LGX Lite PRO can be purchased here:

Recommended Printing Material

For optimal performance and durability, it is highly recommended to print the parts using Luvocom 3F PPS CF 9938. This material offers excellent heat resistance and mechanical strength. You can find it here

Required Hardware

To complete the assembly, you will need the following hardware:

- 2x M3x6mm countersunk screws - 2x M3x8mm screws - 2x M3x35mm screws Firmware Configuration

To ensure proper functionality, make the following changes in your printer.cfg file:

Note that the Bondtech LGX Lite PRO requires a shorter PTFE tube between the extruder and the hotend compared to the Orbiter extruder. Be sure to measure and cut the PTFE tube to fit the new configuration properly.

Assembly Tips

Print all parts using the recommended material and settings suitable for high-strength components.

Carefully mount the bracket to the aluminium plate using 2x M3x6mm countersunk screws, then mount the extruder in the bracket.

Adjust the firmware configuration as specified above to avoid calibration issues.

Ensure the PTFE tube is cut to the correct length to minimize resistance and maintain smooth filament feeding.

Perform a test print to verify the setup and make fine adjustments if necessary.
