Описание

After about 100 hours of printing one of the wires on my umbilical wire harness broke at the Molex pin crimp. Turns out this is fairly common if strain relief at the frame end of the Voron 0 is not sufficient.

I had to modify the original model to fit my LDO Picobilical Frame PCB because it has an extra 4-pin Molex connector in between the 14-pin umbilical wire harness and the 1515 extrusion that is used to bolt down the strain relief (green arrow).

You Will Need To Print

1 - Voron V0.2 Umbilical PCB Support

Print Settings

Normal Voron printed parts print settings. The part is oriented correctly in the STL to print without supports.

Parts Needed

2 - 1515 Extrusion M3 Slide-in Nuts, or normal M3 Nuts

2 - M3x8 Button Head Cap Screws

2 - Zip Ties

Assembly

The M3 Slide-in Nuts are a lot easier to add than normal M3 Nuts. If all you have are M3 Nuts, take a look at the instructions in the original model for installation guidance.

You will need to trim off the 14-pin Molex attachment clamp (red box) to fit it into the print. The 14-pin Molex connector is a tight fit into the strain relief print.
