Caliper Depth Base Attachment (Mitutoyo and others)

This design is based on the original product (reference 050083-10 ) and is specifically made to fit the 500 series Mitutoyo calipers. It is also compatible with calipers that have a 16x3.5mm blade. The model is designed to fit neatly inside the plastic case, ensuring convenience and portability. Additionally, the white piece included in the files was printed in vase mode with a perimeter width of 0.7mm.

Print Settings

The included 3MF file is optimized for the best results, but here are the settings I used:

- Walls : 3 - Infill : 10% rectilinear - Supports : None required - Seam Placement : Positioned to avoid contact with the caliper when fitted (see pictures) For the small bridge supporting the clamping jaw, you have two options:

- Remove it with scissors after printing for a clean look (as shown in the pictures). - Leave it as is—it will function correctly as the part can flex properly. Note that in my case, the bridge broke away from the surface below while I was cutting it. Hardware
