Описание

I bought an original Creality filament sensor for the E3S1 and it didn't came with the back bracket so I had to improvise.

This is the result of the struggle. I basically adapted the basic mount to have the ball-joint thingy so it can move a little while the print head moves around instead of being a static and potentially breaking the filament and ruining prints since on my particular setup the flex to feed the filament into the extruder is concerning.

The base bracket got the ball joint socket neatly placed and can be modified easily so you can fit it to your needs.

Ball joint and back bracket came from this model by CromFr. I thank him for the amazigly well done model: https://www.printables.com/model/469867-ender-3-s1-filament-sensor-mount-holder-with-ball-

Like the original, you need to heat the socket with a lighter or by placing it near the bed (at 70°C to 80°C) for a little (lighter for 2 seconds tops) to soften the plastic so the bracket can have a solid fit. A little bit of sillicone grease helps the ball to do ball things.

A smaller one is in the works since I am experimenting with the design.
