T-nut for 2020 aluminium extrusion profile

This is a complete pack of T-nuts designed for the assembly of 2020 aluminium profiles. This pack contains a variety of T-nuts for different applications. There are T-nuts for different sizes of screws, and there are T-nuts with pre-tapped threads or to be fitted with regular nuts, and there are T-nuts that can be dropped into the slots or to be pushed into the slots from the side, and there are also T-nuts with double screw fastenings, these are 10 mm apart.

Printing and print settings

Use PLA or PETG and a nozzle width of 0.4mm or less and 100% infill to make it solid. For the threaded T-nuts, you will need to print with a layer height of 0.12 mm and I also recommend that you print the models at a low speed, e.g. 50 mm/s, to make the threads usable. My recommendation is to print the T-nuts without a support structure, but with a 2-3mm brim, as the footprint is small. However, there is one exception, the drop-in T-nuts for the M3 nut need to be printed upside down with a support structure. In the model files the parts are oriented in the best direction for printing. There is no need for post-print finishing of the threads and the screws are easy to screw in.
