Описание

Why 0.3 Nm?

source: The right Torque for your Prusa XL Nextruder Nozzle by INVESTEGATE

Printing

- open the PrusaSlicer file as project - print the objects using PETG (DON'T throw the purge, may it is needed later). Object torque-case-B is optional ( I scaled it to 100.66 on X, 100.66 on Y, and 100 on Z ) This is a remix of models by Perinski and INVESTEGATE , adapted for the default Prusa TX 8 Torx key and optimized for 3d printing.

Assembly

- you need: - Prusa TX 8 Torx key - the 3 printed parts (torque case A, torque case B, torque rotor) - a cutter:

- insert the rotor into the torque case A - insert the Prusa TX 8 Torx key into the rotor middle hole - optional: maybe use little bit of purge filament to lock in place the cap (torque case B) [no need for purge usage if the case is scaled a little bit like 100.66 on X, 100.66 on Y, and 100 on Z ), put the cap and cut the excess filament

- now you can use the Nextruder Torque Wrench that gives the unofficial the 0.3Nm torque . To replace the nozzle follow the official Prusa instructions .

Extra

Also provided in the 3mf files are 2 slightly modified hex bits rotors from TORQUEY - Prusa XL Edition - Torque Wrench for the Nozzle . They provide almost 0.3Nm and 1.5 Nm torque.

The 1.5 Nm rotor can be used using The nextruder nozzle adapter for 6.3mm 1/4'' Torque Adapter/Wrench and ¼" inch hex to ¼" square adapter to tighen the nozzle to the header block.
