How to use it in your game:

Swamp encounter: This is its natural habitat. You could place it lurking in murky waters, hiding among vegetation, or guarding a bridge or important passage. Guardian of a treasure or site: A troll might be in the service of a more powerful creature or have simply claimed a place as its lair, fiercely protecting it. Persistent Threat: Due to their regeneration, trolls can be tenacious enemies. Players will need to find a way to deal fire or acid damage to stop their healing and permanently defeat them. Group Encounter: Two or three trolls together can be a significant challenge for a group of mid-level adventurers!
