Compact Case 1 for Philips OneBlade - Home Edition

Introduction

Compact Case 1 is the first model of the compact case series. This model is designed for home storage and daily use. It provides a permanent, organized countertop space for your OneBlade handle, standard attachments, and extra blades.

The case features a print-in-place integrated spring-loaded latch and a built-in stand. The entire model prints as one piece without supports or assembly. Print it, let it cool, load it, and use it.

Note: The current V2.0 physical model is completely unbranded. It no longer contains Philips or OneBlade logos, text, or other brand markings.

Storage details: The spacious compartments are designed to adapt to different standard accessories, extra blades, and cleaning tools. The 35° angled design maximizes storage capacity while remaining space-efficient on a bathroom counter.

Design & mechanism

The hinge and spring-loaded latch are fully integrated into the print. The spring sits inside precision grooves that prevent lateral movement while maintaining tension. Pressing the knob raises the lid ever so slightly in the newer versions, by design.

No screws, pins, or separate springs are required.

First-layer quality matters for the print-in-place mechanism. Allow the print to cool completely on the bed before removing it or testing the latch. If the mechanism feels stiff initially, carefully press it a few times to loosen it.

Development & updates

- V2.0 (Unbranded): The physical model is now completely unbranded to respect intellectual property. All logos and text have been removed. Latch dimensions were updated for improved reliability (sharing the refined mechanism of Compact Case 2), and the lid now pops open automatically. An additional stand-free version has also been included for users who prefer maximizing flat storage space.
