Olight Mini 2 attachment for Miele Blizzard CX1 vacuum floorhead

After hosting a family members dog for a week, I was inspired to attach a handy flashlight I already had (Olight Mini 2 with a magnetic base) to the hard floor attachment (“Parquet Twister Floorhead”) of our Miele Blizzard CX1 canister vacuum.* Bright light at floor level highlights any dust or hair, particularly on a gray or light wood or wood-like flooring.

I provide here two versions, one that prints much easier with minimal supports (v1, green PLA in photos) and another that required more support/brim but fits the vacuum part more snugly (v2, black PETG in photos).

As with the remixed flashlight mount, you’ll need a 10x3mm magnet to secure the Olight Mini 2. This may press fit, but I glued mine.

Test printed in PLA and PETG, with 2 walls and 15% adaptive cubic infill. This clip doesn’t need to be particularly robust unless you toss your attachments into a closet or drawer (ours lives on the side of the vacuum when put away).

*Please note: our vacuum is from 2018. There may have been design changes to the shape of the floorhead since then.
