No one questions the value of clinical simulation for training healthcare professionals—both students and seasoned providers. Yet, creating a realistic and safe simulation environment often comes with unexpected challenges, especially when replicating the presence of common yet essential medical items like lubricating gel.

Lubricating gel is frequently used in a wide range of procedures—from urinary catheterization to rectal exams and endotracheal intubation. However, using real syringes of gel during training introduces unnecessary cost, hygiene risks, and logistical issues. Once opened, real gel tubes have limited reusability, and even sealed ones may be unsuitable or unsafe for repeated use in an educational setting.

That's why I created this 3D-printable Lubricating Gel Syringe Prop with Protective Case —a realistic and ‘’reusable'' solution designed to enhance your simulation scenarios without compromising on safety or budget.
