Webcam arm for metal shelf mountable with Magnets

This 3D-printed webcam arm is designed to capture time-lapse videos or monitor your 3D prints in real time. It mounts securely to metal shelving units using 8×3 mm magnets (approx. 0.31" × 0.12" ), making it ideal for workspaces with metal rack frames.

The horizontal section of the bracket also includes screw holes as an alternative mounting option , allowing you to replace the magnets if needed.

The model is composed of three parts :

- The arm to hold the webcam (compatible with common models like the Logitech C920, as long as they have a standard camera screw). - The mounting bracket , which attaches to the shelf edge. - A knob , which allows easy assembly using a standard M4 hex bolt and M4 nut . The arm is fully adjustable and modular, making it easy to reposition or remove. Designed for practical use in 3D printer setups, this mount ensures stable and clean footage of your prints.

NOTE: You will need to source your own M4 hex bolt, M4 nut, and a standard 1/4''-20 camera screw to attach the webcam. I chose real metal parts because printed screws were not durable enough for this application.
