Spiky Sticks for Lenovo Legion Go

I found the traction on my original sticks for my Lenovo Legion Go a little lacking, so I went crazy and tried adding little pyramids on the face, with plans to flatten them gradually until the texture was just right. As it turns out, the first try turned out to be just right, providing significantly improved traction verses my original design whilst not being too aggressive for prolonged use.

These are designed to be printed top-side up, requiring supports on the build plate only to support the inner cavity. Depending on your printer's performance, you should not need to support the overhanging outer surface; I just played with my slicer's support angle until it only applied them to the inside of the part. If you don't have the best bed adhesion, you may have to add a brim.

The overall height is 9.215 mm, which I found was the minimum needed to clear the face of the controller. Need a different size or configuration? Please reach out to me!

While this has not been tested on any other devices, this may work for others! Please tell me if you find another these work with! For convenience, here are the inner dimensions:

- Pad Diameter: 18 mm - Hole Diameter: 5.6 mm - Hole Dimensions (flat-to-flat): 4.6 mm - Depth: 5 mm

Printing

- Printed in PETG (as pictured); however, PLA should work just fine. - Parameters - 0.4 mm nozzle maximum– smaller nozzles will improve the definition and increase traction. - 0.1 mm layers (the finer the better) - 3 Perimeters - 15-20% Gyroid infill - Support from build plate only– change the support angle until the outer surface is not supported. - Orientation: Hole-down
