Hand Grip for Nikon J1

This is a hand grip for the Nikon J1. It's a small device, but hard to get a positive purchase for extended periods of time.

The grip is secured to the camera with the tripod screw. You may use a threaded heat insert to relocate the tripod mount that the grip will take the place of.

There is a mounting protrusion that sits in the hard-wire battery flap, so that will protrude ever so slightly with the grip exposed.

- ¼" Tripod Screw Quick Screw Adapter - ( Amazon affiliate link ) - ¼-20 Threaded Heat Insert - ( Amazon affiliate link ) Print and Assembly Instructions

- Print the model right side up, with the grip pointed up wards. (I used PLA filament.) - Infill : 100% - Walls : At least 4 - Supports : (Important) Use normal supports. - Using a soldering iron, insert the heat set threaded insert into the bottom of the grip. Ensure it sits flush before allowing it to cool. - Place the grip onto the camera, and then use the quick screw adapter to secure it in place.
