FLSun V400 – Polished OrcaSlicer Profile (Quality Over Speed)

After a lot of testing, tweaking, and community feedback, I’m proud to share my well-tuned OrcaSlicer profile for the FLSun V400. This profile has been a long time in the making, and the results truly speak for themselves – smooth walls, clean details, and reliable performance.

I’ve spent considerable time fine tuning the flow and cooling behaviours to achieve consistent, high quality prints, some examples of this profile I'll share below:

- Cooling adjusted so the material isn’t force-cooled, allowing for more even layer bonding, - Flow calibrated on both filament and printer setting for more accurate dimensions and uniform wall thickness, - Pressure advance tuned for cleaner corners and reduced extrusion artefacts, - Preconfigured support settings for strong yet easily removable supports, - Scarf Seam placement calibrated to make scarf seams as subtle and unobtrusive as possible. This profile is geared towards quality, not speed. Whilst I know that the V400 is capable of printing much faster, I’ve chosen to prioritise precision, surface finish, and overall consistency. You might notice prints take a little longer, but in return, you’ll get beautifully clean, professional-looking results.
