Cold Shoe Adapter for Mamiya RB67 (Left Side Mount)

This is a custom cold shoe adapter designed to fit the left-side mount of the Mamiya RB67 , utilizing the same screw holes typically used for the camera strap lugs.

The adapter allows you to attach light accessories, such as a light meter, directly to the side of the camera. It fits snugly against the body and stays in place thanks to a slightly tighter (0.1 mm) tolerance against the camera surface. The design requires no modification to the camera and can be easily removed by hand.

Please note: this adapter is intended for the left side of the camera only . If you mount it on the right side, it will block the shutter release lever , which needs to be pulled forward to open the lens. I originally designed a version for the right side, but quickly realized the lever couldn’t be operated — so this version is made specifically for the left side .

Recommended orientation: standing upright with the hole facing downward (for easier support removal)

⚠ Important information: I do not recommend mounting anything heavy on this adapter. It’s intended for light accessories only — use at your own risk. Since this mount normally holds the camera strap, the screws themselves are quite robust and should not break. The Mamiya RB67 is a heavy camera, so the 3D-printed adapter would likely fail before the camera itself does.

I printed mine in PLA , but you can use PETG for a more durable result. Personally, I’m using it to hold a light meter .
