Cultist of Demogorgon (DND / TTRPG)

Here is another mini from Stranger Things: Welcome to the Hellfire Club - the Cultist of Demogorgon. I made a variant with just the claw hand and another with tentacles. I also switched it up a bit here and included the original reference and the new one that I made before turning it into a model. This way you can see where it started and where I took it.

For my process on this one you can see the references - I put that transformed one into Rodin and got an FBX model. The Sickle and right arm was no good so I swapped in the left and then sculpted a new sickle from scratch - it's not that great but I focused on making it thick enough that it won't snap - that's the worst imo with any mini - I've also got soft hands so sharp bits always end up slicing them up so the sickle is chonky. I also made the hood around their head - another part that is a bit iffy aesthetically but functionally it works and I'll keep working on my handmade meshes. As usual I recorded my work and I'll post that full VOD here when it's done processing.

For FDM printing I think printing on his back is ideal, for resin the usual -45 degree tilt and auto supports should be fine. The fingers on the left hand are something to be mindful of and maybe the tips of the tentacles but I tried to wrap the tentacles enough that they supported the fingers and each other pretty well. Last thing - these fellow do have a bunch of sharp teeth - these probably aren't going to show up on FDM but for resin you'll want to watch those supports so that they don't crowd the mouth.
