1920 Underwood 5 typewriter rubber foot

This is a replacement rubber foot for a 1920 Underwood 5 typewriter. Note that the Underwood 5 can have several types of rubber feet. Here, I copied the original shape of the feet of a specific Underwood 5 which has metal cups on top of the feet.

Print settings:

- I used Siraya Tech Flex TPU - 85A Filament

- Shore 95A TPU is too hard.

- Softer TPU should work as well, but I haven't tried.

- 85A gives decent grip on a smooth surface.

- I fed the TPU directly to the extruder, no PTFE tubing.

The first two pictures show the original foot vs. the 3D-printed foot.
