I could only find 2 Max6 G2 mounts compatible with the X-Maxx and I wasn't happy with either.

This ones compatible with both the original Max6 and Max6 G2.

Mounting - 2 M3x8mm screws for mounting the Max6 G2 to the plate. Anything longer than that and you will damage your esc. - 2 M3x14 screws for mounting the plate to the chassis. Go in from the underside of the chassis. The screws go in the opposite way the stock esc used to, so the first time might be a bit difficult as you're cutting new threads. - You will probably need to cut off the antenna mount from the receiver water ingress cover.

1) the plate is Reversible. None of the ESC mounting holes work for you? flip it around! Intended mounting position has Hole 1 towards the motor, but it'll screw in either way 2) the plate is the exact size of the shape of the area the old ESC sat in. No guesswork or lining up holes trying to install it into the x-maxx!

3) There's plenty of mounting options for the Max6 G2 itself: - Hole 1 suits the stock motor, - Hole 3 is the best for a Hobbywing 4990 G2 or 5690 G2 when either is used with a Max6 G2, with the sensor cable on the opposite side of the motor -Don't use hole 1 or 2 for those motors, you will damage the cable intended for the receiver coming out of the esc. - i like swiss cheese, use the other holes to your heart's contempt.
