New: mounts on sides of printer for Flashforge Adventurer 5M (AD5M) Nozzles Box and Accessories Box v1.2

PLEASE READ

There are two styles of the boxes to choose from: stand-alone or able to be slid onto a printed mount.

Previously, the printed mounts were only for attaching onto the back of the Flashforge Adventurer 5M (AD5M) printer. Now, with this listing, the option is added for attaching either box to either side of the printer.

NOTE: These are compatible with BOTH the original DIY enclosure and ALL remixes of the MINIMAL enclosure.

NOTE: The printer itself is asymmetrical: on the right side, the two mounting holes are 83.50 mm apart, while on the left side, the two mounting holes are 93.50 mm apart. Thus one cannot simply mirror a side to get the other side. That's why I've provided left and right versions.

There are two versions for the left side, both marked with an engraved L: one for the smaller NOZZLES box, and another for the larger ACCESSORIES box. Likewise, there are two versions for the right side, both marked with an engraved R: one for the smaller NOZZLES box, and another for the larger ACCESSORIES box.

These are backward compatible with both the Nozzles Box and Accessories Box, both v1.1 and v1.2. No need to reprint your existing boxes if you want to move them.

PRINT NOTES

- PLA is fine.

- No supports needed.

- I suggest 3 perimeter walls for strength.

- 15% infill is fine.

INSTALL NOTES

To mount one of these, you would:

- Remove the two "middle" screws on a front-side guard-plate (remove the lower screw on the upper guard piece, and the upper screw on the lower guard piece)

- Then put the part in place and attach with two M4 screws that are at least 8mm or 10mm long. — If you are using the original stock screws from the DIY enclosure kit, which are M4 screws that are less than 6mm long, you'll need to replace them with slightly longer ones, again, either M4 x 8mm or M4 x 10mm, etc. The new part gets mounted as shown here.
