Voron 2.4 / Trident Tophat – screwable extrusion mount & panel clip remix

Thanks to Luc1luc for his beautiful tophat design! The goal of this remix is to allow the printed TopHat parts to be directly mounted to the aluminum extrusion frame while also introducing a clip-based panel mounting system .

This provides a more secure attachment to the frame while keeping the panels easy to remove for maintenance or modifications .

Features

🔩 Direct mounting to aluminum extrusions Uses M3 hammer nuts / T-nuts to securely attach the TopHat to the printer frame.

🧩 Clip-based panel mounting Panels are held in place using clips for quick installation and removal. Get the clips from this repo.

🛠 Maintenance friendly Panels can be removed without fully disassembling the TopHat.

🧲 Magnetic covers Small neodymium magnets keep the covers securely in place.

Printing Notes

- Recommended material: ABS or ASA (standard for Voron builds)

- Standard Voron print settings should work well
