Minimalist Housing for Logitech Z333 (Space-Saving Mod)

Since upgrading to a larger screen, my Logitech Z333 speakers no longer fit properly on my desk. I realized the original boxy housing is unnecessarily large—mainly because the included "tweeters" are actually just plastic fakes with no function.

This 3D-printed housing eliminates the wasted space. While the new design is slightly deeper trying to compensate a little bit for the reduced height and width while sporting a much smaller footprint. Since the Z333s aren't "high-end" audiophile speakers to begin with, I haven't noticed any difference in sound quality after the swap.

Note: This project reuses all internal components from the original speakers.

Required Parts:

- M3 Heat Inserts: 8 pcs

- M3 Screws: 8 pcs (6mm length is sufficient)

- Magnets (8x3mm): 8 pcs (to attach the grills to the speakers)

- Soldering Iron: Needed to desolder and resolder the speaker wires during the transfer.

- Adhesive: Hot glue or superglue to secure the cable exit at the rear and the magnets to the front grills
