Описание
Inspired by the Millennium Falcon RFID fob housing by Stephen Sealey
I merged the top and bottom parts with the middle section, then split it in half.
Small 2 mm holes were added for pins inserts. You can use 14 AWG wire or 1.75 mm filament.
The back of the middle section was cut, removed, and separated so a different color and material can be used.
For mine, the body is Overture Matte Gray PLA and eSun Translucent Orange PETG
The original middle section was 5mm height, but my HID fob is 5.5 mm, so even 6 mm was not enough. 7 mm proved to be not enough after it was split and merged with the bottom and top halves.
I did with 8 mm before cutting in half.
For the back propulsor jets, I did with 8 mm height what it's slightly too high but it gets a perfect fit after some sanding.
If you do not have a fob, a CR2032 battery could be used with flickering yellow 3 mm LEDs, and the effect is amazing. 4 LEDs in total are a perfect idea.
Several files are included for different approaches, or projects
M2 screws were used on early prototypes
