Ryobi Charger horizontal or veritcal mount with T-Nut for Ikea Skadis

I realized the older design put the t-nuts in the center while a bulk of the weight was at the edge where the mount is connected to the charger. The new design splits the 2 ends into separate parts. I also added 3 t-nuts to each end which might be overkill but it distributes the weight across 6 nuts making it a lot more stable.

This mounting bracket is designed for the Ryobi 18V RC18120 charger and uses the keyhole slot on the back of the charger to make it compatible with the IKEA SKÅDIS pegboard.

Both M2.5 and M3 mounting options work. I prefer the M3 version for added sturdiness. The mounting hole supports either size, as long as your M2.5 screw has a head smaller than 3.2 mm. With M3 screws, the hole may form light threads in the printed part, but you can easily strip them by turning the screw with a bit of leverage.

This model does not include alignment guides, as I didn’t find them necessary. It can be installed horizontally or vertically on the SKÅDIS pegboard. PLA works just fine and holds the charger comfortably. Since this is going to hold heavy batteries, I recommend the following

- Print on one side with supports to avoid weak spots on the pegs holding the charger (See picture)

- Increase wall loops to 4 and also check alternate extra wall

Although designed for the RC18120, it may also fit other chargers that use the same keyhole‑style mounting slots. The distance between the pegs is 114mm.
