Описание

This is a ball-mount based articulating arm to use with the the Logitech C920 camera. Current version features an 80mm long arm and a base mount that uses 2 4mm wood screws. More to come in the future please suggest more features/mounts/lengths to add to the model.

two versions are currently included: 1 that is fully printed but quite weak. And a second, which uses hardware to make it more durable. The hardware uses a nut as a locknut, allowing a handle to be used with the screw. The hardware needed is:

- 1 x 30mm M4 Screw

- 1x M4 nut

- 1x 4mmx6mm M4 heat insert

- 1x 6mmx6mm M4 heat insert

Printing Recommendations

- Material: PETG, or ASA (PLA not recommended)

- Layer Height: 0.2 mm

- Infill: 20–40%

- Perimeters: 3–4 walls recommended for durability

Disassembly and assembly explanation:

You have to disassemble the camera. Inside, 4 screws hold two metal arms, unscrew those and take out the stock mount. After that, you have to pull the hinges out of the stock mount and put them into the adapter (pull on the metal arms, and the hinge should come out), then reassemble, and you are good to go. Here's a link to a video of the disassembly process ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0wWCd5nmfU&ab_channel=JaredPoole ). You only need to disassemble until minute 6:20 in the video, the 4 screws I'm talking about you can see at minute 5:30.

one heat insert goes on the arm side with the smaller hole, the other goes in the handle to be used with the lock nut, photo is included.
