For those about to rock! Get ready to shake your foundations! This model is another entry in my Slave To The Metal 90s Drawing Series/Collection , where I am systematically turning my original hand-drawn concept art into clean, printable display pieces.

This plaque brings the iconic, high-voltage gothic typography and central lightning bolt of AC/DC to life. Because of the individual letter spacing and the standalone nature of the lightning bolt, this model is offered as a solid Base-only plaque to ensure the entire design prints cleanly as a single, durable piece. The base comes equipped with integrated keyhole slots on the back so you can effortlessly mount it flush against your wall!

The design features a sharp 0.0777” bevel on the letters to make the geometry stand out. I've engineered the main text width to sit at 8.0” flat, leaving just enough room for the base border to comfortably fit smaller and standard 3D printer beds without scaling.

Multi-Color Filament Swapping Tip:

- To get that classic high-voltage look shown in the digital render (Black base, Yellow borders, Red face insets):

- Slice the model flat on its back.

- Add a pause or filament change in your slicer right where the black base plate transitions into the raised outer letter borders (switch to Yellow).

- Add a second pause right at the layer where the inner letter face inset begins to swap to your final color (switch to Red)!

Print Settings

- Material: PLA

- Layer Height: 0.12mm to 0.20mm (Lower layer heights will make the letter bevels and slopes look exceptionally sharp and clean).

- Infill: 10% or higher. (Gyroid or Grid patterns work beautifully for stability).

- Supports: None required when printed flat on the bed.
