PLAYMOBIL Steck Castle Window Bars / Grille 3002868 (30028680) - 3666 Replacement Part

This is a 3D-printable replacement for PLAYMOBIL part 3002868 / 30028680 , the arched window bars / grille used in the classic PLAYMOBIL Steck castle construction system.

The original part can be found in vintage medieval sets such as PLAYMOBIL 3666 and other classic castle and medieval sets that use the same window system.

I tried to reproduce the original part as closely as possible, including the rounded outer frame, horizontal bar layout, distinctive four-circle pattern in the center , and the mounting features around the outside of the grille.

The model is intended as a replacement for missing or damaged original window bars while maintaining the appearance of the classic PLAYMOBIL castle windows.

RECOMMENDED 3MF FILE

I recommend using the supplied 3MF file rather than simply importing the model and applying a standard slicer preset.

The supplied project already contains the intended orientation and a print setup optimized specifically for this part, including support clearances designed to make the small mounting features easier to print and clean up.

Using the supplied 3MF also avoids having to recreate the support and adhesion configuration manually.

The exact printing parameters are provided separately in the Settings and manufacturing instructions below.

The supplied 3MF is optimized for:

- Printer: Bambu Lab A1

- Nozzle: 0.4 mm

- Layer height: 0.08 mm

- Initial layer height: 0.20 mm

- Material: PETG

- Wall generator: Arachne

- Walls: 3

- Infill: 12%

- Infill pattern: Gyroid

- Top layers: 9

- Bottom layers: 7

- Scale: 100%

The model should be kept in the orientation supplied in the 3MF.

The project is primarily tuned around PETG, particularly the support clearances. A PLA filament profile is also stored in the project, but the supplied process itself should be considered the PETG-optimized configuration .

PETG PROFILE

The primary saved filament profile is:

DELUXE Creality CR-PETG Clean Strong - A1 0.4

Saved starting temperatures:

- First-layer nozzle: 255°C

- Nozzle after first layer: 250°C

- Textured PEI bed: 80°C

- First-layer bed: 80°C

These values can be adjusted if required for a different brand of PETG.
